Initial meeting to discuss child's needs

Are you concerned that your child may not be ready for school? Has your child started school and you are concerned about their lack of progress?  Please contact me for a consultation to determine if there are ways to support your child.

Intake & Assessment

I use a multidisciplinary approach to assessing your child's physical, emotional and cognitive development. There are also vision, auditory and sensory processing components along with reflex testing and a dominance profile. The intake process is comprehensive and will help determine the root causes of your child's learning needs.

An Assessment is required for intervention

I provide sessions that support students with areas of challenge. Initial sessions focus on the body, brain and senses being ready to learn. If lower levels of the brain are not functioning well, higher levels of cognition will not be attainable. The foundation needs to be laid first. We need to address "how" to learn before we can focus on "what" to learn.

The various programs focus on learning through movement and play. They build a child's pre-academic skills that will support later language and reading tasks.

Individual or group art lessons are available for students who have learning challenges but have wonderful creative strengths. Art can unlock your child's creativity and improve whole brain functioning.
